Tekiteki-an (ex: hōmotsuden treasure museum)

There is an ornamental cap on the top of this building, built in memory of our founder Keizan Zenji’s 650th year commemoration. Cultural properties of this monastery are displayed to the public.

Unsui Gunzō

The sculpture (Unsui Gunzō) was created in 1974 in front of the “Hōmotsuden (treasure museum)”

“Unsui” means that monks devoted to the practice are as clouds go, as water flows.

The sculptor Mr. Torao Yazaki made this sculpture with inspiring spirits of purified Zen mind and passion
