Daikon (Radish) steak


Radish, oil, cayenne pepper powder, soy sauce, sugar, sake, pepper


  • Peel radish and cut in 2 – 3 cm slices. Keep the peel.
  • Dice 0.5 cm as small cube with a knife.
  • Deep fry both sides in oil with lid for 30 – 40 min.
  • Remove the oil from the pan. Make sauce from soy sauce, sugar and sake.
  • Serve with cayenne pepper powder.
